Privacy Policy

1. Our Core Principle

Bug Report Recorder is built on a "Privacy-by-Design" philosophy. We believe your technical data and recordings are sensitive and belong exclusively to you. Our architecture ensures that we never have access to your video files, voice narration, or technical logs.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (name, email, etc.)
  • Account data (no sign-up required)
  • Screen recordings or audio files
  • Technical metadata from your reports
  • Tracking or analytics data

3. On-Device Processing

All speech-to-text transcription and metadata extraction (device model, OS version, app build) take place locally on your iOS device using Apple's Neural Engine. No voice data or technical logs are ever sent to our servers for processing.

4. Storage and Data Control

Any bug reports you generate are stored in the application's local sandbox on your device. You have full control over where this data is exported (e.g., to your Jira instance, Slack channel, or local Files app). Once you delete a report within the app, it is permanently removed from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Bug Report Recorder does not integrate with third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel) or advertising networks. When you use the "Export to Jira/GitHub" features, you are interacting directly with those platforms via official APIs or the system clipboard; your credentials and data remain within the secure communication channel between your device and that provider.

6. Contact
